- Structure: The screen surface uses a horizontal sawtooth prism structure composed of alternating black and white layers. The white angled surfaces reflect light from the projector (positioned below), while the black layers absorb ambient light from above and the sides.
- Principle: Selectively reflects projector light while blocking ambient light through directional absorption
- The physical black grid structure is the key to its performance. The white slanted surface reflects the image from the projector (placed below the screen) directly to the viewers, while the black parallel layer absorbs ambient light coming from above. This dramatically improves contrast and color saturation, making it possible to watch content without needing to turn off lights or close curtains
